I would like to fill in an old pond in the Garden its 4mx2mx0.8m. Ive removed the liner and the hole sides seem to be clay up to about 300mm from the top. I was thinking of filling bottom with some sandstone blocks i have from an old building,Would this be ok and what would you recommend for the rest of the hole.I would like to finish with top soil then I can turf.
Thanks for any advice.
