What grade bark are you after? That does sound a bit steep I guess you've got 4m2?

Talk to the forestry commision as they often supply the suppliers landscapers buy from. Get some contact details from them. That quote is way too high. If there is pine forest near Bristol should be cheaper. I've paid between £20-£40/m3 delivered inc vat for conifer 20/30. We are near Thetford forest though.
