Hi all, I apologise if I have posted this in the wrong area as I am unsure which one it fits best into.
I am getting to the stage now to do my patio and i am buying all the bits and pieces. The patio is going to be rag green Indian sandstone (had it 5 years so will be glad to see it down!).
The problem i have got is that I have two inspection chambers that are really close to each other. They are 480 diameter. Picture enclosed hopefully
They are that close that the original plastic frames used to overlap as the gap between the chambers it about 25mm. I want to replace the original covers with recessed ones but am unsure which ones to get.
As the chambers are 480mm diameter will they need to be 600x600 or will 600x450 be ok?
All the ones I have seen have a flange going around the outside, would it be possible to cut this off on the one side of each and butt two frames together? Or if anyone has got any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
Also what makes or online supplies would you recommend, am looking for a 10ton rated one.
Many thanks
Jon

You should be able to buy a simple round to square recessed cover, and if you sqare them up, yes cut down the sides as they meet. I think the 10 tonne ones are standard. Looks very easy from here
