job i am pricing in the morning 480 m2 covered in pea gravel and tarmac underneath meant to be softish do i hire in a crusher and reuse with type one .looking at using granite setts randoms or gritstone sandstone setts large so will be taking out 300 mm ish any body down there to hire machine off. job is near harwich all so muck away contact is this near your manor msh :D

must say i cant make the figures work, quicker and cheaper to have the crush in and muck out in one trip per load. job done.

Have the job it's in Woodbridge Sulfolk 500m2 plus large radious 16 meters across then the rest in boguns another cracker for the time lapse this project was won by client looking at my video s happy days :D

why not, asphalt is just aggregate and bitumen, see a lot of old asphalt being crushed to reuse in new ashpalt

you need to come to norfolk LLL the highways direct and the contractors use tarmac planing as sub base for new footpath construction all the time so it has been approved by all lab results,rolled and compacted it no problem, £17.55 at round hear i often use it MSH :)

Ive always been told not to use scalpings as sub base, only for blinding.

Cookie where do you get your sub base from?im pretty near you. i pay £7.50t for scalpings and £12t for type1 limestone (per 20t)

Scalps are basically quarry waste! Would never use for a subase but for trimming up it would be OK.

i live in york now .used to live in wrexham lot cheaper in northwales just searching for prices now 500m2 muck away 250mm deep am using 4x4 setts now 100 plus ton type one 100 ton sharp sand plus cement .cant get silo on site project in in woodbridge sulfolk :D any help most welcome
