Hi people very new to all this so be gentle.
I have religoulsy read over this forum and I am looking for some advice.
Just bought a new build house with a tarmac driveway.
the builder says its a 25mm layer of hard wear course.
at the begining of the driveway the edgers are squint, as in they have narrowed the entrance down for no reason.
it seems to be the first 2 edgers that have been cut up to allow the small arc.
I want to remove these and place straight edgers in and fill in the small area with new tar, around a size of 1 foot by 4 foot.
pavements aren't final tar yet only binder course.
the builder said he wouldnt do it becuase of trying to get the new tar to seal to the exsiting tar wouldnt work.
Is there any way to get around this or to do it.
reason i am so bothered is, i am running a fence up the side of my driveway and to put a post the the begining will narrow the entrance down too much. but with the begining squared off it would be fine.
Hope everyone understands my rant.
Any help would be much appreciated.
thanks
Stuart
