Hi i have been on the black stuff for 25 years now and in that time i have done a few concrete jobs.
My question is I have a 60sqm slab to concrete (drive) I am getting it conveyerd in and wanted to know how long i have to work this concrete

in these temperatures you dont get long dont just dump it all in start from one end level as you go dont let them them rush you you will need at least 2 other helpers who know what there doing :;):

yep but well prepared and ready is the key when it goes its gone even trying to add water later is a fail good luck :;):

well if its 60 m at 100 mm thick thats 6 M3 the barrowmix crowd we use allow 40 minutes per metre barrowed but normally its more like 20 minutes per metre when access is close.
as cookie rights says dont let them rush you in to taking it in 1 big heap
2 lads barrowing and 1 levelling (we did 2 metres this afternoon but it was a 100M walk to the shed base)and we did it in an hour
most important thing is the slump,
too wet and you will be there till dark
too dry and it wont trowel up for love nor money

thanks for all your comments, i am having a conveyer belt so wont be barrowing it which will give me a bit extra time

the barrow mix people we use has a kind of conveyor
seen here the main thing is have it at your own pace.
i hate shovelling crete as its curing
the readymix drivers all fell out of the ignorant tree and hit every branch on the way down :;):

very well said luton when they start there spiel only got 30 mins need to dump it . i normaly say dont bother take it back that cures them :;): :;):
