Hello,

I had a concrete slab poured a week ago. It rained last night. We have noticed this morning that the surface is soft and brushed away quite easily. I get the feeling it's not going to harden. What should I do? Any advice would be most appreciated.

Where did the concrete come from? readymix, "barrow mix", mixed on site? Did it rain the day it was laid? what is the concretes supposed strength as in cement content?

Sounds like the mix was too wet when laid.
