I need around 20 linear metres of bull-nosed granite kerb.
Ideally these would be 100-150 wide with 125-200 depth and in any length at at all, as the plan is to cut them down to 100mm lengths to allow them to be laid as an arc.
Grey preferred but will consider almost anything. The closer to NW England the better. Payment in beer vouchers if required!

The reclaimed stuff is too rough'n'ready for what I'm trying to achieve. Those in the photie are ideal, but are 6,000 miles too far away!
I might have a ride up to Steptoe's on Saturday and see what they have. The trouble with all these reclamation yards is that they always claim to have exactly what you want, until you get there and you find out that it's nothing like what you described, and they're just trying to flog you an unsuitable alternative.

Yeah I was going to say there are a good few hundred metres of BN granite kerbs in our town centre Tone! Getting them out could be a bit of a fiddle!

I went to see a certain supplier on Saturday on the grounds that the yard manager claimed to have "plenty" of new granite kerbs available.
So, after 50-odd miles in the rain, I got there only to find that 'new' in his vocabulary meant "new to the yard" rather than new as in not previously used and trafficked for about 125 years on the streets of northern England. Pillock!
Anyway, I think I might have found some now - just waiting for photies to prove they are what I think they are.
