Where to I start on finding a good match to a 1930 garden wall brick, we live in Marple/Stockport and I have yet to even find a builder merchant that has more than a few different bricks in stock. (I was spoiled when I lived in Cambridge!)

Have a look in your yellow pages for salvage yards they always carry stock of older bricks.

Can you post a couple of pictures of the brick?

Brickmarket in Woodford is a good bet, or TP on Windmill street in Macc.

Huws Gray in Warrington have a huge selection and also offer a brickmatch servicce for free.

Our yard is in Strines I went to
Marple hall :), Cheshire demolition or Travis will brick match to their supplier or there's the big wineberger! Brick factory in cheadle on councillor lane.

Or some builders have them how many you need?

That's a very standard brick but just very very dirty so you'll do well to get an exact match, ayve take a wet washer to them see there true colour
