id be happy with 4 quid. the last big kerb job we did with the machine we got about 300m down, not every day mind but we wernt on price we was on salary then,i know it sounds strange to be on a salary when you work on the roads but it was a good one and its the way the firm(cemex construction )wanted it.
your right lutonlagerlout 600m is alot of kerbs in a day and belive me we felt it,but the money was worth it even tho we should have charged more.infact i remember on that job(A52) a gang of blokes pulled up in a van and asked us how much we were getting a kerb and my old man told them and they said they were getting 3 quid a kerb and drove off laughing.me and the old man fell out that day:laugh:

was on a job a few months back,me and this bloke was just diigin 1mx1m post/sign bases out,and i was watching these lads laying the beany bottoms.they put abot 30m in and it was a slight radius then they backed them up and they werent shy with the concrete then they did the same to the front.so next day they put the tops on then try to straighten them up but obviously the bottoms dont budge. they looked a right mess, think the lads were eastern european.
whats the price for beanys these days?
