Hi,
I'm about to embark on building a retaining wall (circa 10m x 1m) using 6" concrete blocks. I going to use the feature on walls (http://www.pavingexpert.com/featur03.htm) for standard detail /requirements i.e. weep holes, terram, dpc etc... but I haven't quite agreed with my wife what the face will be built from - I'm currently assuming a standard facing brick. My question is; should I be using a butterfly type anchor (similar to cavity wall build) ready to tie in the final facing brick?

Thanks in advance....

rt2 or rt3 is what you need
spacings used to be 900 horizontally and 450 vertically with 225 verticals at stop ends
butterfly ties are outlawed now for reasons that escape me?

Always use ties even when facing in stone
