Just a question, how would you ascertain the strength on set concrete in-situ?

Having laid my garage base in one ,with ground beams, I just wanted to be sure they concrete would take a garage wall and structure. The beams are 600 deep by 400. The reason Im asking is it was a barrow mix company who had the job, Ive heard a few scare stories since, so just wanted to make sure they hadn't scrimped on the cement.

PS

did spec a c30, but this was verbal :(

for a single storey ,no building regs construction 600 by 400 of lean mix would be fine hen
we always used to do 450 wide by 600 deep on conservatory bases and had no problems
dont worry

most victorian houses up this way are laid on a 3 brick spread footing, so you'll be fine.

Cheers chaps, just bit of a worry after the wettest day in Coventry (day it was laid) exposed a bit of aggregate in places, leading me to a flap. :D

Will rest easy now :)
