Hello all, I’m looking for some advice.

The Gas people are working their way down my street laying a pipe under the pavement. I have a PIC drive as does a neighbour a few doors up who’s pavement section has already been completed and the channel filled with fresh tarmac.

The tarmac surface appears quite oily/shiny and where my neighbour has driven cars on and off his drive it has left blacks ‘tracks’ on his PIC drive.

I realise this will settle down naturally but is there anything I can do to prevent this happening?

I was thinking something like sweeping some sand over it?

Thanks in Advance

Al
