Hey Lads and Ladetts just wondering if you know of a excellant water sealing product..
I have been asked to clean out and repair a water feature!
It is a tiled base that has had G4 sealent on it that has turned orange and pealing off..
I want to re-seal it . .
Can you recommend a product?
cheers

The G4 should have gone on under the tiles are you sealing it to stop leaks or to give a better finish. If it's to stop leaks then it might be best to strip the tiles and render off then re-render and G4 min 3 coats then re-tile. Tiles can be sealed above the water line with bondaseal not much point doing it below the waterline. Tile choice is key stay away from porous or rough surface stuff and use waterproof grout etc. If you want to bodge it then try the resinous flour finishes that they use in car showrooms and garages etc but don't be giving any guarantees. Be aware you could be flogging a dead horse here if the thing isn't built right then not much point papering over the cracks.
