15 metre piece 1000mm pipe, 20mm-40mm thick steel rivetted together in plates about 3 tons worth. taking it out and over the river as well.

cut it up into 5m sections not sure whether to scrap or keep.

doing the bit over the river tomorrow. went through 5 blades on the stihl saw and some oxy ocetelene also.

Wow thats some pipe, why are you replacing it Giles?

Should get about 30 quid for it at the minute:p

If you have the transport and space, I'd keep it. Useful pipe!

yeah thinking of keeping it for culverts and the like, not replacing its coming out. was installed in 1953 to provide water to the mill which has now been demolished, so getting rid of pipe and bridge to improve view for when we rebuild the cottage in the near future. me and the machine will be going for a swim tomorrow haha hopefully not too deep
