Hi,
I have just had a retaining wall built in my garden to form two terraces. My problem is that they dug out too far behind the wall (almost one metre back). They have now just filled this void with gravel which is fair enough, but I wanted to install a path on the top which would have been where the gravel is now. This will obviously not be compact enough to bed a patio onto, so what should I do? Do I have to dig it all out and then compact it layer by layer or is there anything else which can be done?
Many thanks,
Rams
