Advice please. Following recent deluges from the usual wonderful summer weather we get here, some localised areas of my patio DTP are spongy (surprise). I have laid DTP in layers of not more than 75mm and the sub grade below is fairly solid.

My question is do I just leave to dry out before laying the flags or get more DTP and compact with the wacker again and protect with a tarp? Thanks. :(

leave to dry out. it wont hurt to cover if you have one but only when rain is imminent

Thanks Sean. Guess as with everybody patience is a virtue in this wet country! I have a tarp so I'll cover if it can dry a bit. Thanks again. :)
