Quick cheap fix for pot holes but imo is only a temporary fix. I dont rate it for its durability :;):

I saw it in the paper yesterday, due to the massive amount of potholes appearing through the adverse weather this year it is only for a temporary fix as its costing local councils 53 million a year with compensation claims and that figure was going to rise

this machine has been brought in to stabilise the situation and has the capability to patch potholes a lot faster than the current way

thats how I understood it anyway

Somerset Highways have one of these machines - mainly for use on rural unclassified roads - and from what I've seen the repairs are pretty good & durable.

Very very noisy though!

60 quid a hole f#ck me thats a bit steep for 5mins and a couple of quid materials. Surely the roads service are getting better value than that.

Most roads round here, a high pressure air jet to remove loose debris would take up most of the road!!

Whole costs, I would say £60 a go is about right.

Lethal for motorbikes and should be banned. creates a huge amount of loose chips on the surface after its been traffficked.they are supposed to sweep the road after, but rarely do.
