I'm looking for ideas on materials to surface and waterproof a concrete roof deck to be suitable for a car standing but good looking too.

The deck is precast conc. slabs with a 45mm screed over.

The snag is that it needs to be a thinish layer as there is garage off of the deck. Currently it has an inside floor level the same as the outside deck level so anything I add for waterproofing and paving needs to ramp down to taper down to the inside floor level.

First thoughts were asphalt with a promenade tile or a clay tile. Or perhaps a resin something or other could waterproof and surface in one go?

I know this is an odd one. Basically its a house on a steep hill. Road is at top with a drive going into an elevated garage. Under the drive and garage are areas being converted into the house.

Ideas much appreciated.

black jack, bituthene then cover with cordec sheets. that will waterproof it then you can overlay with your choice of paving. you may need a structural engineer to make sure it is load bearing.

epdm layer with your choice of paving over. epdm is single layer very thin and waterproof, and would be the best long term option imho:)
