Great site folks, Brew Cabin newbee.
I'm building a field shelter for my horses on very good soil in a well drained field in Scotland. I intend to fit sleepers around the perimeter, fix down with rods and fill with ruble and hardcore. What sort of membrane should i use? Driveway fabric, DPC or not bother. The substrate is very good. I will be putting rubber stable mats down and cannot use concrete. Thank you in advance.

??
are you laying the sleepers say 9" apart then filling the void with rubble?
i dont know about horse's field shelters but when i have built stable blocks for farmers (horses cows and pigs) the walls are invariably 9" hollow concrete blocks with rebar into the foundation then all the holes concreted up
what is the dpm for?
LLL ???
