Hi
I have just finished digging a section of my sloping garden out for a patio . I have built a retaining wall .and put a land drain behind it so that should hopefully solve any future flooding problems . The area that I want to pave however is very soggy very spongey clay , can anyone advise me what to use as a sub base for this . I will need to fill the area about 400 mm deep to bring it up to the desired level.
Thanks
mick
