I am building a boundary wall, when I pour the footings should I put a DPM in, as you would for slab, to stop the water loss or should I put a geotextile in (such as terram) which would just slow the loss, but not stop it?

Thanks Tony, I am just under 1 meter down and have started seeing a few more stones, something slight different to the soft sandy soil so far, according to the structural engineer there is “nice gravel bed at 1 meter, soon as hit it I shall stop and chuck in a DPM as suggested.
Cheers.
