as much as I am sad about having to remove 4 conifer trees, that have been cut back to form a hedge on a boundary, I have to do it to Finnish the patio.
I am removing as much root as is possible. But there will be some root left below the surface, approach 6 inches down and root diameter up to approx 1/2 '' . I'd assume these are no longer going to develop or grow, I'm not a gardener. So the plan is to fill with sub base material on top of the roots left behind and carry on bedding and laying the slabs. Does anyone see a problem with this.
cheers all
