Whats the best way to create a concrete bank, 2ft at the back, sloping down to 6inch at the front? Would it need to be laid in stages?

The bank is to be laid over soil - I'm assuming it would still need a sub-base, even though there will be no vehicular or pedestrian traffic over it?

Any pointers appreciated.

you should be able to pour the concrete in one go rather than stages as long as you use a low slump (fairly stiff) mix so that it doesnt run down the hill, make sure you start laying at the bottom aswell

Appreciate the comments so far.

The bank is 11m long, by 2m wide. The area is at the roadside, and the bank is to tidy the area up and stop traffic using it as a layby/passing area.
