Hi
I have a number of Concrete bases to put in. Each base comprises 2.545 Cubic Metres of C35 Concrete (Manufacturers reccomendations). Because the actual site where these bases are going is remote, I can't get a Concrete Mixer (the sort on the back of a lorry) to the site, so I will have to mix it "on site". In total I need to mix 13.63 Cubic Metres.
My question is: Can I mix C35 Grade Concrete in Batchs, and if so what should I be careful of ? (IE if I hire the biggest diesel or petrol mixer I can get in my trailer, can I mixin batches, or do I need to do a single pour ? )
Thanks for a great book, I did a fine job on the Patio, and am now moving on to "bigger" Projects.

You can get an "All Terrain" mixer, if necessary. We have used them previously on projects that are some way off the public highway and on land that simply could not take the size and weight of a conventional wagon.
However, if access is restricted and you can't get any mobile mixer into the site, then a site mixer is your only option. You'll have to strictly monitor the batching to ensure consistency, but mixing 2.5 m³ should be achievable in 1-2 hours at most.
