Hi all, I have a garden, and a lot of clay to remove(already 5 skips gone), question is please... is there a calculator for knowing how much will come out of a known size...I have asked and some say add 30%....some 50% etc...

i think you get approx 4.5 m3 in a standard skip, so if your able to work out the area your excavating, n thn with that work out the total volume and divide it by the 4.5 you should come up with a near enough estimate of how many skips you will need.

I think what you are meaning is the "bulk up" rate. Its hard to judge - on our current site of heavy Devon clay it feels like almost 100% - which means you get stuff all in a skip (get a decent digger and a tipper truck if you can) anyways it becomes a very expensive game.
