hi, i have been asked to replace roughly 15 quarry tiles on a step.
the exsisting tiles are capping the concrete step, would i be able to replace them using a strong mortar mix, if not, wot else would you recomend.

cheers

Get the old ones off, first. They may have been mortar-bedded, in which case you will need to chisel out the old mortar and use a good Class II with Ronafix or SBR added to fix the replacements, but if a tile adhesive has been used, you may have to do the same, depending on what you find underneath.
