I have recently converted a barn and the original yard of approx. 300m2 of concrete has seen better days. There are weeds coming through cracks, hollows which become puddles and where I have laid drainage there is a patchwork finish.
To make it look good to the eye I was thinking of a surface of bitmac to finish it off.
The problem: I have only 150mm to the DPC, thus the problem of layer thickness, also, would it be possible to lay bitmac directly onto existing concrete with a membrane to stop cracking..?
Is there better ideas regarding products/cost saving?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
