I am building a retaining wall on a slope going towards the house. I have sorted the land drainage and the footings, and will be building a double skin retaining wall. 12mtres long and 760mm high. Do I use brick for both skins ?, or can I use concrete block for the back side, since this will be covered with the soil. Do I have to protect the blocks in an way since these will have soil against them. Any advise would be appreciated.
