Unadopted potholes! - Mending potholes in unadopted road

My house is on an inside corner plot, the road running downhill on each side of the corner. Heavy rain streams down the road and digs out the already broken surface of the tarmac & concrete unadopted road, as does wheelspin from vans and delivery lorries when turning up into the tight corner. Most of the half a dozen potholes are two to three feet long, a foot wide, and about four inches deep. The road is about ten feet wide at most and stretches to about fifty feet long but I don't want to resurface all of it. What do you think I should do in order to fill these holes permanently?

The only permanent solution is surfacing or paving. There is no method of permanently filling potholes. The fill material will work loose and/or new potholes will form elsewhere.

Would it not be possible for all your neighbours to chip in and and have all of the unadopted road 'upgraded' and re-surfaced?

We may have a solution, although as Tony says it may not be permanent.
