Hi, any advice on how to erect a wrought iron fence through the edge of my tarmac driveway. Will I need to hire some sort of drill ( what sort of drill) to make a hole (what size and depth) for a 3ft high wrought Iron fence? Then presumably back fill with normal concrete mix. Is it possible to have a home made tarmac covering on top of the concrete or will I be left with concrete showing around the wrought iron posts.

When ordering the wrought iron panels (I need 5 metre long) what length should be below ground level in the concrete?

Many Thanks
Mick

What size are the posts/legs on this fence?

You've lost me: the fence is 3 ft high, and the legs are 3 ft high. Does this mean the total height (uninstalled) from base of post to top of panel is 6 ft?
