I have a problem pathway at the front of my property can someone please help!!
I live in a victorian terrace with cellar. In front of the property there is a 12-15 foot wide path, then a twelve foot supporting wall dropping down to the garden.
Effectively there is 15 foot wide stretch of earth sandwiched between the house and this wall.

The path has been layered with tarmac (badley for over 50Yrs +) It is now cracking, moving and uneaven it has moved by 12 - 18 inches in places
What do we need to do to re-lay, and what type of surface / structure would we use.
Thanks in anticipation

Very difficult to comment on projects I can't see, but I'd guess that some kind of tumbled block or clay pavior would be the best option.
