Has anyone got an old specification for a wooden post and rail fence as im not sure how to write one.
You need to specify the dimenions of the posts, the rails and the boards. Then you need to specify the separation between posts, the depth to be buried, along with how they are to be haunched, and the overall height of the completed fence.
Next comes the types of fixings (screws, annular nails, bolts, etc) and any desired finish.
Have you checked for an NBS spec?
