I chose tarmac instead of block paving last april.
I thought my was choice was cost effective and right?.
My tarmac drive is uneven and as a worn out look.
After only a few weeks of having work done, i had to call back the guy, because were i park car, on left side wheel sunk.
So he came out while i at work, and patched it up.
Tried to call back to vent my anger wont reply.
The job was done by himself and 2 others.
no digger, all dug out with shovels.
They put down large white stones all over and then tarmac on top.

Was this correct?.

How do i sort my drive out now?.

It was not correct,the only thing you can do is did it out and start again, on a domestic driveway you need min 150mm type 1 base and tarmac in 2 layers -base course and surface course MSH

Oh dear.I think you have been the victim of a "travelling community" surfacing job.

Only thing you can do is accept the error of your ways, put it down to experience and rip it all up and start over. Harsh, but realistic.

shame. sounds like you've been stung mate. like many have pointed out, the only way to sort your drive out is to start over again...only next time use a reputable contractor. get a few quotes off different contractors and post up with their specs & prices for comment and a few pointers.

oh, and decline any offers of 'white chippings'.
