I laid 35 edgings for a friend, 1 has not stuck it wobbles a bit , I did them all the same, no big deal but i bet if he trys them to see if there solid hell go to that ONE.
any ideas ? also if there a guide to how much concrete should go up the edging to hunch it. ie so you only see 100 mill of edging or is it just see what looks best.

Make a sand/cement slurry - ie a very wet, soup-like mortar (3:1 mix) and trickle that in around the loose edging. Wobble the edging to encourage the slurry to settle in and so secure the unit.
When the slurry cures (24 hours) that edging is going nowhere!
As for helping you out regarding haunching for the edging, you need to tell me just what type of edging it is!

Make the haunching 75-100mm wide, and bring it up the back of the edging to around two-thirds height (100mm approx.)
