Got a customer wants some aco's cutting into an old patio. Think the hopper/gully is combined will know for sure later. I have some shallow aco's that are around 60/70mm deep.

How much of a bodge would it be to cut these into the side of the hopper? i.e. cut at 130mmx70mm square out of the side of the gully, sending the aco in half inch or so, then trimming the top and grate so that the gully top sits back down. Seems wrong and naughty to me, but also seems a lot less pain than lifting slabs and cutting into pipe which could be in any kind of condition...
