Are there any restrictions on using these flush invert IC's for foul runs? If I buy a 3 inlet flush invert IC and only use the straight run and one side is that likely to cause blockages or is it acceptable?

No - but you should stopper-up the unused branches.

Got a couple of the OSMA 250mm ones. Not only is the unused branch stoppered but on the inside it has a plastic piece which stops any flow going up the unused branch. Quality stuff.
Also for one of the IC's i've again gone with the OSMA 320mm base but with only 2 inlets 1 straight and 1 90deg. You have to get this the right hand for your job but not going to get any nasty pieces clinging on anywhere they shouldn't
