Drainage channel - Newbie looking for some help on drainage

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

Hey, we are just looking at changing our patio from the old utility paving that has been there a while.

The had previously cemented a channel along the side of the house and around the pipes to the drain at the end of the house.

I wondered if anyone had any ideas on a new channel I could use with the new patio, they are just sandstone tiles, all same size.

Is a normal drainage channel (like ones for a driveway) the best choice in the rear garden or can you get hidden ones that would not disrupt the new patio pattern?

Also the pipe in the middle is in the way of having it close to the wall, I guess it would be easier to have the channel a little further away from the wall and pipe, but thought it would look more obvious then.
