Hi. Got a sloped driveway done in block paving. Is it ok for me to replace the levelled manhole with a block recessed cover that follows the drive gradient?

The original one was in a flower bed so it didn't matter that it was level But now that it is part of a paved area, it looks ugly with one side flush and the other 3 inches above the block paving.

Yes you can use a recessed cover, that's what they are designed for. Use the correct one for loading requirements...have a gander here

Yes, no problem.
You may need to cut the riser down in height (which is beneath the cover), in order to sit the cover at the required gradient.
