Connecting rainwater downpipe into a soil stack….

Firstly the property is on a combined drainage system, otherwise this would clearly be not allowed

I have very limited space on the house wall, due to the location of a window and a garden wall, fitting both pipes into this space will be tight. Additionally I will likely need to introduce a bend into the soil stack (below the window), due to lack of underground space for both a rest bend (for soil stack) and a gully (for down pipe).

So is there a trap I can fit to a soil stack that allows a down pipe to be connected above the height of the garden wall?

There is a dormer window above the level of the gutter, hence the need for the trap.

(Before anyone ask, yes building control is going to inspect the work.)

Simple! Put an underground trap above ground! Sorted!

Maybe you could use a couple of double socket access bends and make a gully with rodable access points top and bottom, just a thought ???

I have decided to run the down pipe along the garden wall for a short distance, so that I have space for the gully.
