I have used the 'plastic milk crate' type of soakaway units .. usually polypipe versions.
I have a corner of may garden that is a bit boggy .. and as was the case at other end of garden was going to deal with it by putting in geotex wrapped crates, and some perforated french drain pipes in herringbone style (surrounded by 150mm all round of stone all geotex wrapped.
I have just been donated 2 large Geolight water attenuation crates form a huge water collection system being installed on a large project.
Are these suitable for soakaway crates ? ...
If so knowing I want to 'soak' in moisture from ground by osmosis would I fit them orientated the way they are (my guess) or turn through 90 degree.
I could do 'without' french drain feeders and just have them draining ground if necessary.
