Good Morning all,
I have a garden area - approx 7.5x4.8m square, which i would like to turn into a drive, and apply to get my kerb dropped to allow parking.
I want to get the surface done temporarily for now - enough to get the kerb cut, and most likely unfinished to get the application in and kerb cut. The council are looking to move some street furniture which would limit the opening i could apply for in the dropped kerb. On the other hand, i will be carrying out some major building works in nov this year and inevitably the surface will be damaged.
So i would like to do as little as possible now, to allow compliance with the SUDs requirements, to get the kerb cut, then in a year's time i would like to redo the whole lot preferably finished in resin.
Any recommendations as to what i can do for the temporary works? I will still need to park a car on there so just replacing with gravel may not be enough...
current surface is crazy paving, not sure what is under neath as yet.
