Hi There.
hopefully someone can help me.
I have a garden which is sunken and half of it is always in shade from garage, half of this is patio paving slabs.
Now having been here 5 years it has never flooded. (and last year we had rain that flooded our area massively but not our garden.)
though the last few month there is surface water sitting on the patio. and muddy on non patio bit.
A large tree recently died and has been cut down and I thought this could be the problem, but have been told no.
I've had the drains cleared and had die put through the system so if they were leaking it would show up in the surface water on patio. but no.
Ive tried brushing the water into the sun to dry off but the flooding come back even if no rain for weeks so feel it must be coming from the ground up!
All help greatly appreciated
Thanks

There are about 6 large conifers close by though that I would hope would be drinking it up (though really not been very rainy here)
I'll try and get some photos tonight
Thanks for reply
