Had a delivery of plastic hexdrain today, amongst the bits spread about the living room are a corner unit and a sump. Any suggestions on how to seal the joint between the two?

It's a 'loose' fit - an accuracy you can measure by postcode. Aco's literature suggests consultation of a sealant specialist, thus I ask the interwebs...

Any other tips on installing this product, it looks fairly straightforward, but appearances can be deceiving.

laid on a concrete bet with the units close together and haunched up, the little need to use a sealer, I have never used any when laying channel drain . MSH :)

Just use an ordinary silicone sealer.

Never used a sealant. Not that I ever use plastic channels though.

Thanks for your thoughts - the channel itself is fine and doesn't need any help, it's where the sump unit attaches to the bottom of the corner/junction block the fit is a bit slack. Will probably take Sean's advice and silicone it, once I've got the angle right :)
