Hi all,

I am creating a new turning point for the lane I live on, this will become adopted highway. I have used a design firm to do the plans, but he is now off on his hols at a critical time!

He has left me with some guidance regarding the gully in the road and kerbing, but I need some sample of simple precast soak aways so I can adapt them for my plans.

Has anyone got a drawing they would be will to let me have a copy of?(scan is fine)

Many thanks!

Steve :)

TBH if you need a proper drawing you may well have to pay for it!

most of our drawings just say " rainwater pipe to new soakaway 5M from building"

the BCO decides the construction

I am not averse to paying, it just the highways designer that I am using is off on his holls at a crucial moment. I don't want to delay the project so am taking the rest of the drawings on myself. So far the designs have cost 2K, but the soak away is the last part I need to draw and submit.

The paving expert site is amazing, and has been very useful. I think I probably have enough to go on now though, I contacted a prefab manhole maker and they have sent some useful drawings. Also, there is a chap on ebay that sells and designs SUDS systems, so I am hopeful he will help too.

Cheers

Steve
