I have a deep 4" clay drop shaft with cemented joints and no concrete surround 2" away from the brick backdrop i/c.
A 4" clay drain pipe in 2 sections connects from another i/c about 4'6" away into the drop shaft via a branch junction and there is a short length of vertical pipe up to ground level for access.
The drain pipe connecting to the drop shaft has dropped over it's length, shearing the socket of the junction at the drop shaft and the connecting pipe at the other end (which has not dropped).

Could you please advise whether the following would be ok:
* Cut the drain pipe & the drop shaft below the junction & remove.
* Replace with uPVC pipes & junction connected to existing with Flex-Seal adaptors.
*Surround new uPVC part of Drop Shaft with 150mm concrete.
*Compact beneath replaced drain pipe & bed in P gravel.

Will there be room to make the new flexible connection to the new drain pipe section between the i/c and Drop Shaft?

Any advise or other suggestions would be very welcome. Thank you

Hi Sean
Thanks for replying. Got some good photos but can't see how to post them. Have tried copy and paste but no luck so will do so when I have worked it out (unless someone can help out please?)
