The Brew Cabin

Hi,

Our patio was laid 2 years ago and following this miserable winter I have noticed a substantial amount of dampness and moss on the bricks (which are below the DPC). The patio is 2 courses below the DPC which I understand is fairly standard.

I am concerned that the french drain has not been made deep or wide enough and the patio that abuts the side of the house has created a drainage issue around the down pipe. Hopefully the pictures will provide a good reference. Please let me know if you need more detail.

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated as I am not too sure which trade to approach to remedy the potential issues.

The house is a new build and is 4 years old.
