My daughter has just called me and told me her drains are blocked, a few of the other flats are also blocked.
She is unable to inform the landlord no reply.
What should she do please

landlords should be available pretty much 24/7
if i get a call from a tenant i give them expected time to sort an issue
normally less than 48 hrs
as giles said IC needs inspecting and probably rodding

why are they a rip off stewart?
my mate barry had a dynoloc franchise and i used him a few times and found him to be very affable and competitive
my neighbour locked herself out,and he came 30 miles and let her in for £40

The guy I use for drain unblocking is like that. Doesn't charge a lot, comes out right away, honest about what the problem is.
He used to work for Dynorod, quit when they were expecting him to rip people off. If he found the problem right away he had to hum and haw, pretend it was complicated, fanny about and charge them a hell of a lot more than what they should have paid.
He ended up leaving and starting his own business.
Heard a lot of similar horror stories about them.

Get round there and get the manholes up and have a look, i did a job last year on a block of flats from the late victorian period ish.. The internal plumbing pipe was so old it had furred up and finally blocked, we had to jet from the bottom to the top and hope it didnt all back up in to other peoples kitchens. Knightmare job, took 3 days and nights and i got bumped for the money by the plumber....
