Hello
We have built a flagstone shed base, which has an extra 3ft to one side which is a footpath.
When it rains heavily a considerable puddle forms in front of the shed. What appears to have happened is one slab has dipped slightly under the shed (it doesn't actually have any weight on it) causing water to accumulate in a 3x3ft puddle in front and just under the shed.
The water doesnt soak the shed, our only concern is that the footpath space gets very wet and would be pleased to prevent that in heavy rain.
In hindsight we thought that building it nice and level would be good for the shed, but with the footpath space included its flat and water doesn't run off.
What solution do you think could alleviate this problem?
Simpler the better, we aren't going to lift the shed and start again. But are prepared to lift one row of slabs or fit some kind of drain solution or slab with holes.

could you not just lift the side path and put a fall on it?

Thanks for your response.
I could. But that might start to mess with how the path levels up at either end. However, maybe that is the most sensible solution, providing the tidiest outcome.
Will have to fiddle with the row of slabs that are half under the shed, which may prove tricky to get them nice and stable, in order to have a neat run off over the footpath part (the puddle mainly accumulates on slabs that are half under the shed). The footpath part is one and a half slabs width (3ft) you see.
But maybe its not as tough a job as I imagine. Any tips? without lifting the shed!

any pictures of the area would be helpful?
You could disc off the slabs at the edge of the shed, then re lay the path with a cross fall to one side using the off cut and a full slab, or possibly leave the off cut out and fill with shingle and leave the 2' slabs where they are.
