The FloPlast Bottle Gully seems to sell for a lot more then the City Plastics Gullies (that are all over ebay). What is the real life difference between them?

Is there an easy way to connect a modem roddable Gully to a 1930 clay system, or do I just use an 0to90 adjustable bend, some plastic pipe and flexi adapter? (I expect this is a common requirement so there may be a premade solution, but I can’t find any gullies with flexible connections unlike some access chambers)

Is there much to choose between different makes of flexi adapter?

What depth of raising pieces can be used on a Bottle Gully, but still provide easy access to clear blocked drains?

Why does anyone still use Universal Traps (or P’ Trap) with hoppers and access bends – what problem do they solve that a bottle Gully does not?

Sorry for asking so many basic questions…

flexi adaptors are ac 400s clay to plastic
easyto use
bottle gully should be near to ground level, pipes take the fall
p-traps are handy when there isnt much fall
especially under linear channels
